A Strawberry

My mum loves doing gardening and now there are more than 30 kinds of plants in the garden. Though the garden is not large as the typical Japanese garden, still we can sense the season from the trees and flowers.
Today, she found strawberries from the planter and picked some. She started to grow the young plant about 3 years ago. The berries are tiny but tastes good.

Swine Flu

Now it's very hot topic, right? Everybody is talking about it in Japan and many of them buy masks and wear in commuting hours. I just heard the numbers of the people suffer from swine flu is getting larger than last week. Some schools in Osaka are closed about a week. Well I think Japanese are especially sensitive to this swine flu. Even if people from overseas are checked in plane, it takes time to develop the virus. As a result, I think most of Japanese are misled into thinking that we can halt the spread of swine flu in airport. Then now people are kind of panicking on internal infection... I just want to say one thing. Please don't blame the people who are infected! Now nobody can stop spreading. What we can do now is to wash hands, to gargle and to go to hospital at once when you are in bad health.

By the way, I have some masks for hay fever but special topic on TV says it doesn't work for swine flu because the virus of swine flu is smaller than pollen...orz*bummage*

It's been a hard day

Yesterday was a really hard day for me. I was thinking about seminar topic all night long because I'm gonna have the discussion in the 5th period. Then without having a nap, I headed to the elementary school where I had English classes last week. While waiting a bus, ALT found me and told me that my line is wrong. I was absent-minded from lack of sleep and didn't notice at all... I guess my brain was not working. When we arrived at school, a teacher told us that we have 6th period on that day. NO WAY!! Usually we have class until 5th period and I write my report to hand in and soon I pack up and run to the station to rush into the 5th period at university. If we have 6th class, it can kill me from running...Actually, I was half dead when I get to the campus. I was happily on time. :P Then we had discussion untill 8. My energy was empty~;_; For a change, I slept before 10.

And today, I only have Korean class so after that I watched DVDs at SALC, Self Access Language Centre. I started to see from the rest of "Nim's Island" which I watched with my friend last time. And then I still had time so, I look around the DVD sections and found "Save the Last Dance". My friend recommended it to me a while ago. By the way, I feel like my English skill is getting worse than before these days. *CRY*

Lunch Time

It was very sunny today, so I had lunch with my friends at an English garden in campus. At this time, there are so many flowers in the garden and we enjoyed taking the picture after the lunch. I wanna improve my photo skill anyway... Since I lost my camera in Mexico, I've taken picture with my mobile phone. Now I'm thinking of getting a new camera myself.

C-pop

NO MUSIC NO LIFE

I love music! I just like good music :D
I listen to pop, rock, punk, classical, world, healing...anything!

Today I'm gonna write about my first C-pop. This is a story which I was a freshman and at that time I was into the music used traditional Chinese instruments like Twelve Girls Band (女子十二楽坊). In a compulsory class, we were talking about music and I talked about the Chinese music to my partner. Then my partner told me that he have been to China and he got a CD of a Chinese artist. I have never listened to C-pop till then and I was interested in how the C-pop like. So I borrowed the CD from him and listened soon when I get home. And that was really awesome! I really like his songs though I don't understand Chinese lyrics. I listened his songs everyday for a while. Then I remembered the artist name, Wang Lee Hom (王力宏). I think his music is really catchy and also his voice is nice. My Chinese friends told me that he is very handsome and popular among young people ;) Take a look at the video below and see with your own eyes!

Wang Lee Hom - 星座 (Astrology)

My another favorite is "Julia". Check it out if you have interested in! ;D

Child English

Do you remember what kind of a child you were?

When I was in an elementary school, I was really a shy, docile child. I didn't like to stand in front of the class and above all I didn't want to stick out in the class. Really a shy girl, right?^^

Today, I went to an elementary school and taught English in front of the class with an ALT, Assistant Language Teacher. Yes, practice teaching for Child English has started from today and now I'm a student teacher!! Students call me "Asami teacher" which makes me smile. :)) I'm gonnna have English class until September. When I see the little children, they make me remember my childhood and I feel like I got old. LOL

With Grandma

From this Monday, my grandma has stayed our home.
She's now 78 years old and still in good health. She drives a car, uses the Internet, sends a photo through mobile phone. She perfectly lives in the present world! She is always full of curiosity and has a lot of interests. I like her way of life.^^ Since she lost her husband a few years ago, she looked depressed and lonely. But now she seizes the day and lives strongly. She's very strong woman who I really respect. I love you, grandma! I want you to live a long long time. Stay healthy~

This afternoon, we watched GOEMON directed by Kazuaki Kiriya, Utada's exhusband. Though my eyes are tired a little bit, it was beautiful and I like it!;)

Makuhari Flea Market

It was rain today. On rainy days, I always feel like gloomy. -_-

I heard today is the last day of Makuhari flea market from my friend so I went to Makuhari messe from the afternoon in this rain. There were many many plastic sheets and cars which set out a lot of items and people were looking around. It would be great if there is no entrance fee.^^

I looked around till the end and got only a pair of shoes! It was cheaper than cheap...only 100 yen!! Less than the entrance fee... -_- oh...
Anyway, flea market is really fun;))

To Ebisu

Are you enjoying your Golden Week??

I'm fully enjoying this holiday:))
Today I went to Ebisu with my mum. My mum wanted to go to Yebisu Garden Place where features a lot of restaurants and shops including a beer museum of Yebisu. We went into a restaurant where we can enjoy beer and German food. Actually, I don't like alcohol but I just tried a little. Well, it was bitter as I expected. I wonder when I feel beer is nice. The German food was very nice. I like the warm cabbage salad, sausages and bread which is a bit hard. After we had lunch there, got on a bus and went to Daikanyama. Then we enjoyed shopping and I bought a super cute blanket which is made of fleece. I had a great time.
