Learning Korean

Hi, everyone who's looking at this entry!
How's it going?

Recently, I'm a bit tired from thinking about my future because of job hunting. Now my friends and me face worstever employment situation... Japan's economical depression is seriously a big problem. Well, let's forget about it. So today I'm gonna write about learning
Korean language which is kinda latest hobby of mine.

I've just started to take Korean class from this April and now I can read Hangul letters which is like alphabet in Korea. It is said that Korean language is a little similar to Japanese. I cannot speak well yet but I'm enjoying learning Korean. ;)

There are a lot of reasons that I started to study Korean. One of the big reasons is
my mum's influence. My mum who is crazy about a Korean actor sometimes speaks in Korean to me. I've been to Korea with her two years ago, so we know some easy Korean words and phrases. Oh, by the way, the Korean which I learned first was...

ENG: "Where is the rest room?"
KOR: "화장실이 어디예요?"

LOL

It was December when we went to Korea and was very cold. Everytime I went into a department store, I asked at the information centre. Now I perfectly got this phrase.^^

Well, there is another big reason that I got interested in Korean language. That is
my Korean friend. She came to Japan last year as an exchange student and speaks Japanese naturally. I'm really surprised and could not help respecting her when I thought she learned Japanese hard. I know she is brilliant. But as an English learner who have studied for 10 years, it is really difficult to speak like native speakers. Though I don't know how much I can come close to her, I felt like I wanna study Korean to talk to her.^^

Now I listen
K-pop and watch Korean dramas or variety shows on the Internet. Yes, it's fun! After finished the Korean class, I will go to Korea to try my skill!!

One of my favorite songs.
Enjoy!
